In Artvin Region, many bulbous plant species are known to grow in wild. Through the Works of its contractor farmers BiyoART focusses on the growth of the culture forms of these native species on lands with approximately 2000 hectare surface area in total. The bulbs of white lily (Lilium candidum), Caucasian snowdrop (Galanthus woronowii), summer snowflake (Leucojum aestivum) and cyclamen (Cyclamen coum) which are grown with our subsidiary BiyoART-Geo, serving in Georgia, can be supplied through whole world regularly.
The Black Sea Region is unique with its hazelnuts of the first quality. The 70 % of the global production of hazelnuts is also supplied by this area. Our company is capable of sending this qualified product to the every point of the world.
Artvin region is composed of wild forest areas and unpolluted lands with rich floristic structure. This gives our region of production, its intrinsic characteristic of high production capacity for high quality of honey. In the region general honey production technique is without the use of any additives or unnatural nutrients for beekeeping under natural conditions. Usage of medical herbs, which are also very important for the drug industry as a raw material, increases daily. Like the other points of Black Sea region, Artvin province is very rich and important in terms of the medical herbs. BiyoART, offers the qualified specimens of various medical herb species like common ivy (Hedera helix), Western mistletoe (Viscum album), false helleborine (Veratrum album), Jerusalem thorn (Paliurus spina christi), bilberry (Vaccinium myrtillius), cherry laurel (Laurocerasus officinalis), bay laurel (Laurus nobilis), cowslip (Primula veris and Primula vulgaris) and acorn nut.
