To contribute socio-economic development by supporting natural, biological, ecological, environmental and social resources to become self-support is our priority. The studies on this direction begin to show their results.
Our introductive project, which focuses on breeding some bulbous flower species that are economically important through the global market, is supported by Turkish Ministry of Agriculture. The project will be held in Korucular village of Artvin Province, which was chosen as a pilot region for further projects. The white lily and Caucasian snowdrop bulbs will become very important for the economy of the region.
The project is also very important as it will end the collection of the Caucasian snowdrop from nature, which has a declining natural population value.
